Services: Networking Opportunities

The Continuum of Care Project has identified medical practitioners for each region of the state. These liaisons or local champions have a strong interest in developmental disabilities. Historically, they have  taken into their practice individuals with developmental disabilities and, in doing so, have developed valuable collective experience.

Each local champion receives full support from the Continuum of Care staff and is also encouraged and financially supported to seek additional training experiences. It is the Continuum of Care Project's vision that, in the future, local communities will rely more on the local expertise decreasing dependency on the tertiary medical center.
